How to Create an Upstox App

Follow these simple steps to create your Upstox app and get your API credentials.

Developer Portal

Go to developers.kite.trade and login.

Create App

Click "Create New App". Use the following Redirect URL:

http://127.0.0.1/validate_authcode/ZERODHA/YOUR_CLIENT_ID

Important Note

Replace YOUR_CLIENT_ID with your actual Zerodha Client ID (e.g., AB1234).

Get Credentials

After saving, copy the API Key and API Secret.

Add to AlgoDevStudio

Go to Dashboard -> Add Broker -> Zerodha.

  • Client ID: Your Zerodha ID.
  • Account Name: Any name (display only).
  • API Key & Secret: Paste from Kite Connect.
